MathLab is looking for tutors who love math and know how to explain it. You show up and teach; we handle the rest.
MathLab Tutoring is a virtual math tutoring company serving middle school, high school, and college students. We handle finding and enrolling clients, scheduling, billing, and reminders, you focus on the teaching.
What you'll do
Lead 1-on-1 virtual sessions with students we assign to you. Sessions are 50 minutes over Zoom or Google Meet. Send a recap note to parents upon request covering what you worked on and what to practice next.

Finding and enrolling clients, scheduling, billing, reminders, and parent communication when it's not session-specific. You show up and teach. No-shows are paid.
Pay
Between $18 and $25 per session, set by subject level and experience. Rates are locked in at hire and reviewed annually. Paid monthly. Independent contractor position.
Availability
You set your own weekly hours. Most sessions are weekday afternoons and evenings. Minimum commitment is 4 sessions per week; there's no maximum.
Requirements
Strong math background through at least precalculus (calculus preferred for high school & up). Teaching or tutoring experience preferred but not required if you're a great communicator. Reliable internet, camera, and a quiet space to teach from.
